Amy Winehouse rules album charts

Tragic singer Amy Winehouse has shot to number one position on album charts, five months after her death.

The posthumous collection, Lioness: Hidden Treasures, of original tracks and covers, was released on Monday, Contactmusic reported.

Winehouse's label Island Records confirmed the album had gone "straight to Number One on the midweek chart".Just been told. Amy at Number One. My heart is sad but bursting with pride. Mitch," her father tweeted.
