The Florida A&M University drum major who died last month was killed by hazing, according to Florida's medical examiner, who ruled the death a homicide. Robert Champion, 26, died of blunt-force trauma, according to the report. Authorities had said Champion collapsed on a bus after the Florida Classic football game after an apparent hazing incident. Gov. Rick Scott has called for the president of the school to be suspended. The band's director has already been suspended, though he argued that he's fought hazing in his band, recently suspending dozens of players for the practice.
