A judge has allowed a video game maker to proceed with a 100 million-dollar lawsuit against singer Beyonce.

Gate Five LLC had filed the lawsuit claiming that the singer backed out of a 2010 deal for a videogame called 'Starpower: Beyonce' after making an 'extortionate demand' for more money.

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Charles Ramos ruled that the firm could proceed with civil action, charging that Beyonce 'double crossed' Gate Five when she abandoned its project to make a dance videogame.
