Oscar-Winning Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein wants Katy Perry to play Marilyn Monroe in a Broadway musical based on his latest movie.

The film 'My Week with Marilyn' starring Michelle Williams as the screen icon is based on the memoirs of Colin Clark.

Clark had spent a week with Monroe in the year 1957 when she was in the UK filming 'The Prince and the Showgirl' with Sir Laurence Olivier.
