Noel Gallagher blames bro Liam for Oasis' split

Noel Gallagher has fanned the feud with his brother singer Liam by blaming him for killing their band Oasis' chances of cracking America.

The Oasis songwriter has held the singer's decision to quit their first US tour in 1994, responsible for wrecking the group's chances.

"As I'm getting on the plane he's getting off because his wife called, saying: 'We need to buy a house'," the Daily Star quoted him as telling The New York Times.

"What they were doing for the previous three months is anybody's guess.
