Daniel Craig has said that he was not happy with his attempt at scriptwriting for the movie 'Quantum of Solace'.
Craig and director Marc Foster had to rework scenes in the movie after writers in Hollywood went on strike.
He admits that his efforts may explain the film's mixed reviews and insists he is far from proud of his efforts.
"On Quantum, we were fked. We had the bare bones of a script and then there was a writers' strike and there was nothing we could do. We couldn't employ a writer to finish it," Contactmusic quoted him as telling Time Out.
"Me and the director were the ones allowed to do it. The rules were that you couldn't employ anyone as a writer, but the actor and director could work on scenes together. We were stuffed. We got away with it, but only just," he said
"I say to myself, 'Never again', but who knows? There was me trying to rewrite scenes - and a writer I am not," he added.
