Britney Spears 'saddened' by Irish fan's death

Britney Spears has said she was "saddened" by the death of a fan who was killed after falling from a fairground ride after attending the singer's concert in Ireland on Monday.

The 31-year-old woman was thrown to the ground from the Tip Top ride outside Dublin's O2 Arena, where she had watched Spears perform her Femme Fatale show.

The woman has been named locally as Siobhan Healy, from Willsborough, outside Ballinlough in Co Roscommon, who was understood to be living in Dublin.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident, while Spears has taken to her....BNN
