Outrageous celebrity tour demands

Food, friends, gifts and room temperatures don't even begin to cover the bizarre items celebrities demand while on tour. Take a look at a few of the most outrageous tour riders of all time.

Adele

She's got the voice, but Adele doesn't bother with diva demands.
That much seems clear from a leaked copy of the star's 2011 tour rider. Sure, the document makes a few strong requests. When providing drinks for her bus, for example, only the "best quality European lager beer" will do. ("North American beer is NOT acceptable.")
That's just a statement of fact, really. And her rider makes her sound more awesomely likable from there. Adele also asks that every person with free tickets make a $20 donation to charity -- that charity being SANDS, an organization "supporting anyone affected by the death of a baby."
Yes, Adele's rider even helps people. Sadly, we can't say the same for most pop stars'.
We've looked at a few infamous tour riders and selected some of the more memorable -- and occasionally outrageous -- pop star demands. Each one makes Adele look even more awesome.

Lady Gaga

According to The Smoking Gun, Lady Gaga's 2010 tour dressing rooms must have: Note: The tea kettle, organic ginger and lemongrass tea, and honey are very important. Plus all necessary spoons, mugs (with lids), and napkins. Singer Queen Latifah reportedly requires scented candles and Nag Champa incense, along with Jell-O, pudding snacks, and sugar free Fudgsicles.

Katy Perry

Justin Bieber reportedly requires mixed nuts, potato chips, herbal teas, some Vitamin Water, and deli, Swedish Fish (when the singer is in the U.S.) and Big Foot (for Canadian gigs), vegetable and fruit platters, according to this excerpt from Bieber's 2010 tour rider. Bieber also reportedly requires one Vicks Personal Steam Inhaler, Purell antibacterial soap, and an assortment of plain white t-shirts and “lo-rise” socks.






Beyonce

Beyonce Knowles reportedly requires a room temp of 78 degrees, a "private bathroom that's cleaned with disinfectant & anti-bacteria products before she arrives," "Juicy Baked Chicken: Legs, Wings & Breast only," seasoned with "fresh garlic, season salt, black pepper, and Cayenne pepper HEAVILY SEASONED!!" As for drinks "Beyonce can only have Pepsi products. There cannot be any competitors products anywhere she or her entourage may be photographed."

Christina Aguilera

-A police vehicle escort must be arranged when arriving and leaving the concert venue. "Under no circumstances are the vehicles to be allowed to encounter any delays due to traffic."
-"One (1) Small Bottle of 'Flintstones' Vitamins with Extra Vitamin C"

Rihanna
